13º Firebird Developers Day

The 13th Firebird Developers Daywas held in the city of Piracicaba — SP — Brazil, in July, 09 2016, at Espaço Beira Rio. The conference is organized by FireBase, and had the presence of attendees coming from dozens of cities and different states of Brazil:

This year we had the special presence of Alexey Kovyazin, from IBSurgeon. The Brazilian crew of speakers was composed by Alexandre Benson Smith, Marcelo Daibert, Luiz Paulo de Oliveira Santos, Jederson Zuchi and Carlos Henrique Cantu.

In the final session, there was a raffle for the attendees, with products offered by our sponsors and supporters. The attendees also could buy products from our sponsors/supporters with very special discounts.

During the subscription process, the attendees were able to donate money to the Firebird Foundation, supporting the development of the Firebird Project. The amount collected this year was R$ 3.409,23.The list of donors is available at http://www.firebirddevelopersday.com.br/fdd/13fdd_donors.html.

In one more difficult year, when the Brazilian economy is still suffering with the political/corruption crisis, and when several companies are cutting costs and some of them are having to close its doors, it is important to recognize and to value all those who had invested time and money to participate in FDD to grow their knowledge! For sure this will make the diference in the quality of their applications and databases, as well the user support offered!
